Yes. Direct billing to AFU is offered to both under 6 and over 6 children that have approved AFU funding.

You will be contacted to schedule your initial parent interview meeting.
A consent form will be sent and must be signed before beginning the initial assessment session. Please also inform of any funding sources that will be used for billing purposes.

The first 50 minutes of a 60-minute session is dedicated to playing and connecting with your child, whatever that may look like. I use a play-based and child-led approach to my sessions, where we use a motivating activity or interest that your child has and I implement my speech and language support through our shared activities and experiences. This can look like creating art, casually chatting about our special interests while gaming, or building trains together.
The final 10 minutes is dedicated to clean up, notetaking, and either privately debriefing with caregivers or writing and sending a brief session summary email.
To ensure we can accommodate all our client's needs, we ask for at least 24-hours notice if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24-hour notice or miss their appointment will be responsible for paying the full fee for the scheduled session.
I work from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. All after school spots are currently full.
